Junior Project Manager

K International is a world-leading translation company, providing translation and interpreting services to multinational clients via a technology platform.

Based in Milton Keynes Buckinghamshire, this vacancy can be regarded as the foot in the door to an exciting career in project management. You will work as part of a team using a combination of project management, linguistic and IT skills to successfully deliver projects to many high profile clients.

You will assist in the project process, reporting to a Project Manager, or generally helping out on a team. You will build up your skills to move towards a more client-facing role and a role as a Project Manager, if this is the step you wish to make.

Responsibilities include:

• Management and co-ordination of translators, software engineers and DTP specialists
• Ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Effective communication with team members and both internal and external suppliers

Skills and experience required:

• Degree level education. Language degrees and MA qualifications welcomed, but not essential
• Client facing experience
• Strong commercial awareness
• High level of IT literacy
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Previous experience within the translation industry welcomed
