A benefit of the pan Government agreement for Translation Services 05/GEN/25 is the introduction of flexible service levels. Designed in partnership with the users, there are now service levels available to suit all projects.
The bullet points below each heading denote the delivery times/ordering times that are available for each service.

Translation for Information only
This service includes the translation from English to any language that we provide and vice versa. It covers the basic translation required when the text in question is not intended for publication.

- D - 5 day turnaround
- E - 10 day turnaround
Translation Summary
For very urgent translation requests we can provide a summary of the document within 24 hours.

Technical Translation covering subjects such as legal, medical, construction and IT. It includes the translation from English to any language that we supply and vice versa.

Telephone Interpreting
Connection via the telephone to one of our 3000 interpreters.
- A - connection within 60 seconds
Interpreting
Interpreting for face-to-face meetings. This service includes British Sign Language.
- A - Very urgent requests may be routed to our Telephone Interpreting service
- B - We would prefer 48 hours notice but will always endevour to source interperters quicker if needed.
Cultural Understanding
This service is used when the translation needs to be simplified to ensure the translated text is understood by all members of a given community, regardless of their age, education or professional background. We facilitate focus groups with members of a given community to ensure that your text will be understood by the intended users.
